Roman Glass jewelry from Mediterranean Artists is the finest in the US and each piece features a unique piece of original glass from ancient Roman glass vessels created during the first to the fourth centuries BC. These glass vessels were buried for centuries in the Mediterranean area, unearthed in excavations and found to have opalescent colors created from mineral rich soil and oxidation. Set in sterling silver by expert jewelers, these glass fragments are authentic pieces of ancient history and are used to create exquisite objects of art and fine jewelry as well.
