About the Artist

Martha earned a B.A. in studio art from Michigan State University in 1982 and soon after took her first glassblowing class. Almost fifteen years later, glass re-emerged as a strong interest in her life. She uses multiple techniques and materials to bring her vision into tangible form. Martha combines Kiln working, off-hand furnace work, and blowing, flame working, and cold work.
