Busy, Busy, Busy Summer/Fall For Art

June 2 through June 30 – New Berlin Public Library, New Berlin, WI.

John Klug and Joan Skimmons’ have an exhibit showcasing 16 of their original paintings.

June 4 through July 19 – Good Day Art Gallery in Oconomowoc,WI.

John Klug and Joan Skimmons’ are two of 23 artists each with one painting juried into the Gallery’s “Lake Life” exhibit. John Klug’s entry is titled ” Fall’s Final Days” a beached canoe. Joan Skimmons’s entry is “Mommy Robin” a Robin and her babies.

June 8 through July 31 – Tudor Oaks Senior Living Center in Muskego, WI.

John Klug, Jayne Cappelletti and Joan Skimmons’ are exhibiting 33 of their original paintings in the Center’s gallery.

June 24 through August 31– Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield, WI.

The League of Milwaukee Artists is sponsoring an exhibit entitled “Summer Rhythms.” John Klug and Joan Skimmons’ are two of 31 members each exhibiting one painting. John Klug’s painting is titled “Left, Right, Cadence.” A kayaker is showing the rhythm of paddling. Joan Skimmons’ painting is “Rocky Beach” which shows the rhythm of the water.

July 9 through August 8 – MoeChic Gallery, The Barn Shops, Stonewood Village, Brookfield, WI.

Joan Skimmons’ and John Klug will be exhibiting one painting each in the exhibit.

September 1 through September 30 – Waukesha City Hall, Waukesha, WI, in the City Hall main lobby.

John Klug, Joan Skimmons’ and Jayne Cappelletti will be exhibiting their original paintings.

September 6 and 7 – Trimborn Farms Arts and Craft Harvest event in Greendale, WI.

John Klug in booth 94 and Joan Skimmons’ in booth 116 have their exhibits indoors in the Stone Barn. They will both feature their original paintings during the two-day event. The event has art, crafts and food.
