About the Artist
I retired from my position of Senior Vice President in a large technology company where I worked as a marketing professional in business-to-business marketing and sales. I opened River’s End Gallery (now closed) after working 50 years in the corporate world.
My paintings are created in oil and/or acrylic paints and I paint all types of subject matter. My style is very loose realism to abstract.
I started painting in oils at nine years old and painted until age 15. Then I stopped to gain an education, work to fund the education, build a career, and later raise a family. I always promised myself that I would go back to art as a retirement gift to myself. In 2001, I began to paint again, and in 2006, I purchased a building, remodeled it and opened the River’s End Gallery in Waukesha and later in Elm Grove as well. I have sold hundreds of painting to clients all over the country and internationally and have enjoyed my many commissions to paint something special for a client.
After 19 years of owning an art gallery, I closed the gallery in July 2024. I continue to paint and exhibit.
I love art and enjoy the company of artists. The art they create makes people smile. There is not anything better. And, of course, I am so very pleased when one of my paintings finds a new home.
